The Concept of International Order and Multilateral Cooperation in the New Era: Newsletter of the 11th International Studies Youth Forum
The 11th International Studies Youth Forum was held in Beijing on February 25, 2022. Nearly 30 experts and scholars from relevant institutes of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences attended the meeting. Against the backdrop of profound changes in the international situation and serious challenges facing the multilateral order and global governance system, forum participants held discussions on the concept international order and multilateral cooperation in the new era, the main theme of the forum. There were also lively discussions on the divergent views of the United States and its allies on international order, the viewpoint of international economic order of China and Russia, the European concept of international order and multilateral cooperation between China and European countries, multilateral cooperation between China and Africa, China and Latin America, and the impact of Covid-19 on the competition of international discursive power between China and the United States in the Asia-Pacific region. .
The International Studies Youth Forum is hosted by the Bureau of Scientific Research Management and the Academic Division of International Studies of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, organized by the Institute of World Economics and Politics and the National Institute for Global Strategy. The Institute of Russian, Eastern European and Central Asian Studies co-organized the 11th forum. The forum strives to guide young researchers to work on major international issues, and to form a new mechanism for international studies that utilizes the advantages of both the Academy and research institutes.
